I have to admit, I know nothing about the technical side of costuming, so pictures where the cosplayer brings across the character’s personality well will always be more appealing to me than just the prettiness of the costume they’re wearing. Lord Masamune certainly does an excellent job. :)
And I hope you don’t mind me answering your question publicly, but that Hojo photo tickled my cosplay bone, so here are a few of my own favourite cosplays. I’m a really bad cosplayer, in all honesty - I tend to have the same expression(lessness) for every photo - but I try to have fun… which is the most important thing, I think (at least for people like me who can’t craft to save their life, ha)!
Professor Hojo, FFVII (with JenJen as Lucrecia Crescent):
Tseng, FFVII:
Amon, Witch Hunter Robin:
Nana Osaki, Nana:
(All the costumes were made or assembled by JenJen, my Lucrecia from the first picture. In fact, I don’t really cosplay without her.)
Hope that answered your question (…probably too well)? And thanks for the kind words and watch, too. :)
